Pilot Scholarship Program

Must have your Private Pilot’s License to apply.
Fill out the application at the bottom of this page and submit.
Selection will occur within four weeks of submission.

Begin flight training within 60 days of receiving scholarship.
Complete the following steps within the timeline below in order to receive funds (*please note that these are soft timelines as we understand the constraints of weather, plane maintenance, etc.)
6mos: complete your Instrument Rating
12mos: complete you Commercial Rating
18mos: Become a CFI
Show up on time for lessons
Log all hours and maintain organized documents
Cancel within 12 hrs of scheduled flight

Need to be current (licensed, medical, 3 landings within the last 90 days, flight review every two years).
Send receipts and invoice board member to receive reimbursement check (if transactional process is done through flight instructor).
Cancel lessons within 12 hrs of scheduled flight.
Keep accurate training notes and logs to submit to our board.

Scholarship funds are provided incrementally upon meeting the required milestones (please refer to ‘expectations of recipient’).
